Wedding Season

It's here, the Summer Wedding Season! On Monday June 30th I was celebrating my best friends wedding at an amazing golf course location in the Vancouver area. It was a small intimate affair with stunning weather (it was touch and go over the weekend!) and the bride was gorgeous in an ivory lace gown. I worked with her then boyfriend, now husband to create the ring of her dreams - a cushion cut white diamond halo style ring with shoulder diamonds and matching band. I love the creation process, fine tuning the design, hand selecting the diamond and of course it was even more thrilling to be doing it for my best friend. We've know each other for over 25 years and I was honoured to be a part of their day.

What is your favourite part of a wedding? I obviously love the jewels but even more so I think it's the joy - the pure joy of the couple getting married but also the joy and happiness of everyone involved.
