Jeanie, an extraordinary black bear, roamed Whistler Mountain and left a paw-print on the souls of everyone she encountered for nearly 20 years. Jeanie was an ambassador for her kind. Her willingness to accept the presence of humans allowed Whistlerites and visitors a glimpse in to her world. She became the star of the bear viewing tours with her distinctive 'Vee' patch of white fur across her chest.
Keir Fine Jewellery is proud of creating a collection of jewellery to commemorate our beautiful Jeanie and to help support an inhabitable future for all Whistler bears. A portion from each piece sold will be donated to The Get Bear Smart Society so that they can continue conducting research, educating the public and developing cutting edge solutions to help end human-bear conflicts.
