Conflict Free Polar Ice Canadian Diamonds
Surprising how many people don't know that Canada is the third largest diamond producer in the world.
Canada's first diamond mine, called Etaki, opened in 1998. Following that, in 2001, the Diavik mine was opened, only 20 km southeast.
De Beers also started their first mine outside of
Africa at Snap Lake and is Canada's only completely underground
mine.
Diamond Mining in Canada is New
Diamond mining in Canada is fairly new, since the discovery of diamonds in the 1990's, but has quickly become the third largest diamond producer. Currently Botswana and Russia are the only other countries that produce more diamonds than Canada.
Ethical standards are among the top reasons to purchase Canadian diamonds.
Polar Ice Diamonds Are Laser Inscribed
All of our Polar Ice Canadian diamonds have been laser inscribed to ensure they are unique and conflict free. In addition to laser inscription, all of our conflict free diamonds come with a certificate of authenticity.
